Over the past two weeks, I’ve observed a very interesting (but boringly obvious) fact about the flickr realm: If you tag your photos with “Apple”, chances are, you’re bound to get an onslaught of photo views, at least for about 15 minutes. Which is more than some of my other photos get, so, hey, you do what you can to draw people in, eh? The other thing that’s always grabbing attention, at least in some amount, is the “Ground Zero” tag.
More to come, more frequently, over the next…well, lets say a week—and then lets see if things drop off again, heh.

Flowers, anybody? Just a macro shot I took the other day. Turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself!

Some shots from North Shore Park. A few panoramic shots in there that turned out nicely; one or two HDRs that weren’t too bad.
Recently, Adobe released a beta version of Lightroom 2.0 for public consumption. Here’s an image of the result achieved by solely using arguably the best new feature of Lightroom 2.0: masking.

In this image, I’ve upped the saturation on the clouds and the treasury building, to build a bit more contrast, while maintaining it at its regular level on the street and cars. Prior to Lightroom 2.0, I’d have to exit and head over to Photoshop, where I’d be messing with pesky, disparate options, in order to achieve a similar effect with effort as minimal as this required.
Following on from that last post, I’ve posted some new uploads to flickr.
